Important steps
In the opinion of the Polish Psychotherapy Council it is extremely important to ensure a wide access to psychotherapy provided by those who have undergone a comprehensive psychotherapeutic training and who hold a psychotherapist certificate issued by professional association. This is a fundamental right of every client/patient.
As a federation of associations the Polish Psychotherapy Council feels it necessary to unify ministerial provisions regarding psychotherapeutic approaches in order to include of 5 grpups:
- psychoanalytical-psychodynamic,
- cognitive-behavioural,
- humanistic-experiential,
- systemic,
- and integrative methods.
It is noteworthy to mention that as an organization the Council relentlessly advocates this solution to be implemented in relations with the Health Ministry and Polish Parliament.
